Meet me!

Who is The Pet Jewellery Artist?

I’m Avril Manderson, an animal lover and silversmith. I have been selling precious metal animal jewellery worldwide, since 2001.

This is me with my horse Cherry way back in 2000, the year I started making jewellery! I've always loved making animal jewellery, and a range of sheep brooches and necklaces in fine and sterling silver, were the stars of my first jewellery exhibition.

I enjoy working with customers to bring their animals to life and provide a custom piece of pet jewellery that will evoke happy memories of their time together.

Meet Monty!

My Inspiration

The sudden death of my 2-year-old rescue dog Monty inspired me to recreate pets in silver and gold jewellery.

I still can't believe a dog who was with our family for such a short time made such an impact on my life. Our nervous hound was such a special boy and his memory lives on in the hundreds of pieces of pet jewellery I make each year.

You can read about him below, but maybe grab a tissue first...

What I do

Create Fitting Tributes to Cherished Pets

Each piece of custom dog or cat jewellery is designed & crafted by me, from the initial design to the final polish. I only have time to make a limited number of pieces each year.

Hours of work go into capturing not only the way the animal looks, but also some of their personality. I take great pride in creating quality personalised pet jewellery that brings pleasure for years to come.
