A striking dog
Kerry sent me photographs of her beautiful Podenco dog Pixie. She had suffered in Spain before Kerry adopted her. Kerry told me how she trusted her family and brought them so much joy...her tail never stopped wagging!
Her striking ears, colouring and markings, were something I knew I had to capture in the necklace.
I cut her necklace out of sterling silver, before soldering all the layers together. The necklace was then rose gold plated before the white chest and paw details were engraved by hand.
Kerry was thrilled!
"Thanks you so much for my amazing commission of my Podenco Pixie. My necklace is beautiful and I was surprised to see how well you have managed to achieve her likeness. I will be back for a second necklace of my other Podenco Karma."
Sadly not long after Kerry received her order she emailed me to say Pixie had died suddenly, making her necklace even more special.
